My Journey
I’ve always worked hard in my life off the pitch right from the age of 10 to produce my best on it but my diet was never consistent enough and I always tired out towards the 75th / 80th minute in games. In the 22/23 season, towards the back end of the season I had a manager tell me that he didn’t think football was my main priority, that off season I dedicated myself to changing my diet completely and becoming more discipline than ever to become the best version of myself so my performances were always at its peak from the first whistle to the last.
Fast forward to 2 years later, I have lost 20kg, happiest I’ve ever been, closest to Allah I’ve ever been, most relentless and disciplined I’ve ever been coupled with now being a full time footballer with playing stints out in Italy. My message to you all is take that first step and never look back no matter how hard you may think it is or looks. Be relentless and give yourself grace.
